High frequency oscillation (the oscillation frequency is 1.7 MHz, which is beyond the human hearing range) is adopted. Through the high frequency resonance of the atomizer, the water is thrown off the water surface to produce a naturally flowing water mist.
One is humidification. This is the most important parameter of humidifier. In order to cater to consumers' psychology of pursuing large humidification, some enterprises arbitrarily increase the humidification amount, so the standard strictly stipulates that the humidification amount should not be lower than the nominal value of the product's rated humidification amount.
The second is humidification efficiency. It refers to the ratio of actual humidification capacity and input power of the humidifier, which reflects how much humidification capacity can be generated per unit power consumption, and is an important indicator to measure the performance of the humidifier. In order to guide consumers to purchase energy-saving and environment-friendly products and promote enterprises to develop more efficient products, the standard divides this indicator into four levels: A, B, C and D.
The third is noise. Considering that the humidifier may be used in the bedroom, if the noise is too large, it will have a certain impact on consumers, so the standard has strict restrictions on noise indicators.
Fourth, the service life of evaporation core (device). For the direct evaporative humidifier, the evaporating core (heater) is the component that has the greatest impact on the performance. With the continuous use of humidifiers, the efficiency of evaporation core (evaporator) will continue to decrease, and the humidification amount will also continue to decrease. The standard stipulates that when the humidification capacity of the humidifier is reduced to 50% of the initial humidification capacity, the evaporation core is deemed to be invalid. The service life of replaceable evaporation core (device) shall not be less than 1000 hours.
Fifthly, many humidifiers are equipped with auxiliary functions such as softened water, humidity display, etc. In order to prevent some products from misleading consumers through false publicity when they clearly do not have this function, or this function cannot play a corresponding role, the standard also puts forward specific requirements for these auxiliary functions: for water softeners, the standard stipulates that the hardness of water after softener softening should not exceed 100mg/L. Before the water softener fails, the total water softened shall not be less than 100L. For humidity display, it is specified that the error of humidity display should be within ± 10% within the range of 30% - 70% relative humidity, so as to avoid misleading consumers if the error is too large. In addition, the standard also stipulates that the water level will have a significant impact on the performance of some humidifiers, so the humidifier should have a water level protection function to prevent consumers from unknowingly leaving the humidifier in a low performance and low efficiency working state for a long time.
